Do you need a building permit for T-DECK?
For a deck under 60 cm high, no building permit is required in most municipalities. However, check your local planning regulations at your town hall.
Can the deck be moved after installation?
Yes, this is one of the major advantages of T-DECK. The system is fully dismantlable: you can reposition, extend or store it as you wish.
Which boards can be used?
Any type of board works: pine, douglas, ipé, teak, composite… The standard joist spacing is designed for 145 mm wide boards.
How long to install 20 m²?
Count approximately one day's work for two people. No specific tools or special skills are required.
Can you cover an irregular or L-shaped surface?
Yes. The modularity of T-DECK allows combining both panel sizes to adapt to all shapes: L, U, free forms…
What is the lifespan of the aluminium frames?
Anodised aluminium resists corrosion, UV and weather. The lifespan of the frames is unlimited with zero maintenance.
